Jeffery Amherst

Jeffery Amherst (1717–1797) was a British army officer and colonial administrator who commanded British forces in North America during the Seven Years’ War and served as governor-general of British North America.

William Johnson: A British official and military leader who built alliances with Indigenous nations in colonial New York. Johnson helped manage Indigenous diplomacy while Amherst directed the wider war effort.
