Jesse L. Lasky

Jesse L. Lasky (1880–1958) was an American film producer who co-founded the Jesse L. Lasky Feature Play Company and helped build Paramount Pictures.

Samuel Goldwyn: Samuel Goldwyn was a film producer and studio founder who helped establish several major Hollywood companies. Goldwyn joined Lasky and Cecil B. DeMille in founding the Feature Play Company.
Vaudeville: Vaudeville was a form of popular variety entertainment built from short, unrelated stage acts. Lasky worked as a vaudeville performer before entering the motion-picture business.
