Jesus Prayer

A short Christian prayer, commonly “Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner,” repeated in Eastern Orthodox and other traditions. Its repeated invocation joins confession, appeal for mercy, and attention to Christ.
