Jiangxi

Jiangxi is a province in southeastern China, with Nanchang as its capital. Its landscapes center on the Gan River basin, and Jingdezhen is renowned for porcelain production.

Jingdezhen porcelain: A tradition of fine Chinese ceramics produced in Jingdezhen, a city in northeastern Jiangxi. Jingdezhen’s kilns made Jiangxi a major center of porcelain production.
Jiangxi Circuit: An administrative region established during the Song dynasty in the area of modern Jiangxi. The province’s name derives from this earlier regional designation.
Fujian: A coastal province in southeastern China, east of Jiangxi. The Wuyi Mountains form a major natural boundary between Jiangxi and Fujian.
Jingdezhen: A city in northeastern Jiangxi historically renowned as a center of Chinese porcelain production. Its ceramic legacy is a defining source of Jiangxi’s national and international recognition.
