Johann Friedrich Blumenbach

Johann Friedrich Blumenbach (1752–1840) was a German physician and naturalist whose comparative anatomy and study of human variation helped establish physical anthropology.

Carl Linnaeus: A Swedish botanist who developed a influential system for naming and classifying organisms. Linnaeus’s classification of humans preceded and influenced Blumenbach’s own division of humanity.
