John Archibald Wheeler

John Archibald Wheeler was an American theoretical physicist whose work spanned nuclear fission, general relativity, and black holes. He introduced influential terms including “black hole” and “wormhole.”

Niels Bohr: Danish physicist who helped establish quantum theory and developed the model of the atomic nucleus. Bohr and Wheeler jointly explained how nuclear fission can occur.
Manhattan Project: The United States-led wartime program that developed the first nuclear weapons. Wheeler joined the project to work on theoretical problems in nuclear fission.
