John Chandos

John Chandos was an English knight and military commander who served Edward III and helped lead English forces during the Hundred Years’ War. He was a prominent commander in the campaigns of Edward, the Black Prince.

Edward, the Black Prince: The eldest son of Edward III, who led English campaigns in France and ruled Aquitaine as prince of Wales. Chandos served as a close military associate of the prince in France.
