John Hume

John Hume (1937–2020) was a Northern Irish politician and civil rights leader who helped negotiate the Good Friday Agreement and shared the 1998 Nobel Peace Prize with David Trimble.

David Trimble: David Trimble was a unionist politician who shared the 1998 Nobel Peace Prize with John Hume. He negotiated the Good Friday Agreement from the unionist side and shared Hume’s Nobel recognition.
