John Muir

John Muir was a Scottish-born American naturalist, writer, and conservationist whose advocacy helped establish Yosemite National Park and the Sierra Club.

Scotland: Scotland is a country in northwestern Europe and part of the United Kingdom. Muir was born in Scotland in 1838 before his family emigrated to the United States.
