John Romero

John Romero is an American video game designer and programmer who co-created influential first-person shooters including Doom and Quake.

John Carmack: John Carmack is an American programmer and video game developer known for pioneering game-engine technology. Romero’s longtime collaborator at id Software, Carmack led much of the engine programming behind their landmark games.
Doom: Doom is a 1993 first-person shooter developed by id Software. Romero co-created the game and designed many of its nonlinear levels.
