John von Neumann

John von Neumann was a Hungarian-American mathematician and physicist whose work shaped set theory, quantum mechanics, game theory, and computer architecture.

Oskar Morgenstern: An Austrian-American economist who co-developed modern game theory with John von Neumann. Their collaboration produced the foundational book on strategic games and economic behavior.
Von Neumann architecture: A computer design in which instructions and data share a memory and are processed by a central unit. This architecture bears his name and reflects his work on stored-program computer design.
