Knowra John Warnock John Warnock John Warnock (1937–2023) was an American computer scientist and entrepreneur who co-founded Adobe Systems and helped develop PostScript and the Portable Document Format (PDF).
PostScript : A page-description language that represents text, graphics, and images for consistent printing and display. Warnock helped create this language, Adobe’s first major technology.
Chuck Geschke : The common nickname of Charles Geschke, Adobe co-founder and computer scientist. This name often appears in accounts of Warnock’s partnership with his co-founder.
Laser printing : A printing process that uses a laser and electrostatic toner to produce text and images on paper. PostScript gave laser printers a way to interpret complex page layouts.
