Johnny Weissmuller

Johnny Weissmuller (1904–1984) was an American Olympic swimmer and actor who won five gold medals and became famous for portraying Tarzan in films.

Duke Kahanamoku: A Hawaiian swimmer and surfer who won Olympic swimming gold medals and helped popularize surfing. Kahanamoku was a leading contemporary of Weissmuller in Olympic swimming.
1924 Summer Olympics: The Paris Olympic Games held from May to July 1924. Weissmuller won three swimming gold medals and a bronze medal there.
