José Ortega y Gasset

José Ortega y Gasset (1883–1955) was a Spanish philosopher and essayist who developed perspectivism, the view that each standpoint reveals a partial but real aspect of reality.

Perspectivism: The view that knowledge of reality depends on situated perspectives, each revealing aspects unavailable from other standpoints. Ortega made this view central to his account of how individuals know reality.
