José Vasconcelos

José Vasconcelos (1882–1959) was a Mexican philosopher, writer, and politician who led the national education ministry and advanced a theory of racial and cultural mixture called the cosmic race.

Álvaro Obregón: Álvaro Obregón was a Mexican revolutionary general and president from 1920 to 1924. Obregón appointed Vasconcelos to lead the education ministry in 1921.
