Kamerun campaign

The Allied campaign to conquer German Kamerun, fought from August 1914 to February 1916 during the First World War. It ended with German forces withdrawing into Spanish Guinea or surrendering.

Battle of Garua: A series of engagements in northern Kamerun between German and Allied forces during the First World War. The capture of Garua’s forts secured an important northern route into the colony.
