Kamose

Kamose was a pharaoh of Egypt’s Seventeenth Dynasty who campaigned against the Hyksos in northern Egypt. His reign preceded the reunification of Egypt under the Theban rulers.

Kamose Stelae: Two inscriptions from Kamose’s reign recount his campaign against the Hyksos ruler Apophis. These inscriptions are the principal surviving accounts of his military actions.
