Kang Sheng

Kang Sheng (1898–1975) was a Chinese Communist Party official who headed its security apparatus and helped direct political purges, including persecution during the Cultural Revolution.

Mao Zedong: Mao Zedong was a Chinese Communist revolutionary who founded the People’s Republic of China and led it from 1949 to 1976. Kang became a trusted political operator in Mao’s leadership and served Mao’s campaigns.
