Kashta

Kashta was a ruler of Kush in the eighth century BCE and the father of Piye. His reign extended Kushite influence into Upper Egypt, preparing the way for Kushite rule there.

Piye: Piye was a Kushite king who conquered much of Egypt and founded the Twenty-fifth Dynasty. Kashta’s son continued the expansion into Egypt that his father had begun.
