Kemal Reis

Kemal Reis was an Ottoman naval commander and corsair active in the late fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries. He helped expand Ottoman naval power in the Mediterranean.

Piri Reis: Piri Reis was an Ottoman admiral and cartographer known for his early sixteenth-century world map and nautical work. Kemal Reis was his uncle and an early influence on his seafaring career.
