Kepler's Supernova

Kepler's Supernova was a supernova observed in 1604 in the Milky Way. It was the last Galactic supernova visible to the naked eye before modern telescopes.

Johannes Kepler: Johannes Kepler was a German astronomer and mathematician who formulated laws describing planetary motion. He documented the 1604 supernova in his book De Stella Nova.
