Kim Philby

Kim Philby was a British intelligence officer who secretly worked for Soviet intelligence. He became one of the most famous members of the Cambridge Five spy ring.

Cambridge Five: A group of five British men recruited by Soviet intelligence who penetrated British institutions before and during the Cold War. Philby was the ring’s most enduringly famous member.
Trinity College, Cambridge: A constituent college of the University of Cambridge, founded in 1546. Philby studied there as a young man before entering journalism and intelligence.
