Kingdom of Georgia

A medieval monarchy in the Caucasus that united much of Georgia and reached its greatest power under Queen Tamar in the late 12th and early 13th centuries.

Bagratid dynasty: A royal dynasty that ruled Georgia and several neighboring Armenian and Caucasian principalities. Its Georgian branch supplied the rulers who built and governed the unified kingdom.
