Kingdom of Kush

The Kingdom of Kush was an ancient Nubian state south of Egypt, centered first at Napata and later at Meroë. It ruled Egypt as the Twenty-fifth Dynasty and developed a distinctive civilization shaped by African, Egyptian, and regional influences.
