Kingdom of the Isles

The Kingdom of the Isles was a medieval Norse-Gaelic maritime realm centered on the Hebrides and, at times, the Isle of Man. Its rulers linked Scandinavian and Gaelic political worlds through sea power, trade, and dynastic ties.
