Kitakyushu

Kitakyushu is a city in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, formed in 1963 by the merger of five municipalities. Its development is closely associated with heavy industry and environmental recovery.

Moji: Moji is a former port city in northern Kyushu, now a district of Kitakyushu. Moji was one of the five municipalities merged to create Kitakyushu in 1963.
