Kiyomizu-dera

A historic Buddhist temple in Kyoto, Japan, dedicated to Kannon and renowned for its wooden stage overlooking the city.

Kannon: A bodhisattva of compassion worshipped across East Asian Buddhism. Kiyomizu-dera is dedicated to Kannon, whose image anchors its principal worship.
