Kleptomania

Kleptomania is a mental disorder marked by recurrent failure to resist urges to steal items that are not needed for personal use or monetary value. The stealing is not primarily motivated by personal gain, anger, or revenge.

Impulse control disorder: A disorder involving difficulty resisting impulses that can harm oneself or others. Kleptomania is classified among disorders involving recurrent difficulty controlling behavior.
