Klondike Gold Rush

A gold rush to the Klondike region of Yukon, Canada, triggered by a 1896 discovery and drawing tens of thousands of prospectors north.

Bonanza Creek: A Yukon creek where gold was discovered in August 1896, initiating the Klondike Gold Rush. The discovery claim on this creek set off the rush.
