Kyiv Oblast

Kyiv Oblast is a first-level administrative region of northern Ukraine that surrounds Kyiv city but does not include it. Its administrative center is Kyiv, although the city itself is outside the oblast.

Kyiv: Kyiv is the capital and largest city of Ukraine, situated within but administratively separate from Kyiv Oblast. The city is the oblast’s administrative center but is not part of its territory.
