Lake Khanka

Lake Khanka is a large, shallow freshwater lake shared by Russia’s Primorsky Krai and China’s Heilongjiang Province. It drains north through the Songacha River into the Ussuri River.

Khanka Lake Basin: The drainage area surrounding Lake Khanka, spanning parts of northeastern China and the Russian Far East. The basin defines the land whose runoff feeds the lake.
