Lake Ladoga

Lake Ladoga is Europe’s largest lake, located in northwestern Russia northeast of Saint Petersburg. It drains through the Neva River into the Gulf of Finland.

Neva River: A river in northwestern Russia that flows from Lake Ladoga through Saint Petersburg to the Gulf of Finland. It is Lake Ladoga’s sole natural outflow and links the lake to the Baltic Sea.
