Lake Lucerne

Lake Lucerne is a large, irregularly shaped alpine lake in central Switzerland, bordered by the cantons of Lucerne, Uri, Schwyz, and Nidwalden.

Reuss: The Reuss is a major Swiss river that flows from the Gotthard region through central Switzerland to the Aare. It enters the lake at Flüelen and leaves it at Lucerne, linking the lake to the Rhine basin.

Rigi: Rigi is a mountain massif in central Switzerland, rising between Lake Lucerne and Lake Zug. Railways and viewpoints on Rigi draw visitors to the lake’s northern shore.
