Lanford Wilson

Lanford Wilson (1937–2011) was an American playwright and co-founder of Circle Repertory Company. His plays include The Hot l Baltimore and Talley’s Folly.

Off-Off-Broadway: An experimental New York theater movement that developed outside Broadway and Off-Broadway venues in the 1950s and 1960s. Wilson began his career in this small-venue movement, which fostered his early plays.
