Larry Norman

Larry Norman (1947–2008) was an American singer-songwriter and musician whose rock albums helped establish contemporary Christian music and Christian rock.

Upon This Rock: Larry Norman’s 1969 album, often described as the first Christian rock album released by a major label. Its release made Norman’s fusion of rock and Christian themes a landmark recording.
