Leila Khaled

Leila Khaled is a Palestinian militant and former member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, known for participating in two airplane hijackings in 1969 and 1970.

TWA Flight 840 hijacking: The 1969 hijacking of a TWA passenger aircraft by members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. Khaled took part in this operation, which diverted the aircraft to Damascus.
