Robert Menzies : An Australian prime minister who founded the Liberal Party in 1944 and led it from 1949 to 1966. He created the party after the collapse of the United Australia Party and became its defining early leader.
Malcolm Fraser : An Australian prime minister who led the Liberal Party from 1975 to 1983. His government followed the dismissal of Gough Whitlam and governed through a Liberal–National coalition.
