Litre

The litre is a metric unit of volume equal to one cubic decimetre, or 1,000 cubic centimetres. It is accepted for use with the International System of Units.

Volume: The amount of three-dimensional space occupied by a substance or enclosed by a boundary. The litre measures this physical quantity.
Millilitre: A metric unit of volume equal to one-thousandth of a litre. Small liquid quantities are commonly measured in millilitres.
