Livermorium

Livermorium is a synthetic chemical element with atomic number 116 and symbol Lv. Its known isotopes are highly radioactive, and none has a half-life long enough for chemical characterization.

Atomic number: The number of protons in an atom's nucleus, which determines its chemical element. Livermorium's identity as element 116 is fixed by its 116 protons.
Dubna–Livermore collaboration: A Russian-American research partnership that synthesized several superheavy elements at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. This collaboration produced the first reported atoms of livermorium in 2000.
