Lockheed Corporation

Lockheed Corporation was an American aerospace manufacturer known for aircraft including the Constellation, U-2, and SR-71. It merged with Martin Marietta in 1995 to form Lockheed Martin.

Lockheed Constellation: A four-engine airliner introduced by Lockheed in 1943, recognized by its triple-tail design. Its success made Lockheed a leading postwar commercial aircraft manufacturer.
Skunk Works: Lockheed’s advanced development division, known for designing aircraft through small, relatively autonomous teams. It produced several of the company’s most influential experimental and reconnaissance aircraft.
