Lucrezia Borgia

Lucrezia Borgia (1480–1519) was an Italian noblewoman, daughter of Pope Alexander VI and a prominent figure in Renaissance dynastic politics. Her marriages linked the Borgia family to influential Italian courts.

Pope Alexander VI: The papal name of Rodrigo Borgia, pope from 1492 to 1503 and Lucrezia Borgia’s father. His papacy gave Lucrezia’s family exceptional influence in Italian politics.
