Knowra Magallanes Region Magallanes Region Chile’s southernmost administrative region encompasses mainland Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego, and the Chilean Antarctic Territory. Its capital is Punta Arenas, a historic port on the Strait of Magellan.
Tierra del Fuego : An archipelago at South America’s southern tip, divided between Chile and Argentina. Its western islands belong to the region, linking mainland Patagonia to the far south.
