Maimonides

Moses Maimonides (1138–1204) was a Jewish philosopher, legal scholar, and physician whose works profoundly shaped Jewish law and medieval thought.

Mishneh Torah: Maimonides’ systematic code of Jewish law, organized by subject and intended to encompass the full range of rabbinic law. This legal code made his rulings accessible without requiring readers to trace the Talmudic debates behind them.
