Makeup brush

A hand-held brush used to apply, blend, or remove cosmetic products on the face or body. Its shape, size, and bristle type affect how products are placed and blended.

Brush head: The part of a brush that contacts a surface, including its bristles or other working material. Its shape and density determine how a makeup brush picks up and distributes product.
Foundation brush: A makeup brush designed to apply and blend foundation across the skin. Its head is shaped to spread complexion products over broad areas or around facial contours.

Ferrule: A sleeve that joins a tool's handle to its working end. The ferrule secures the brush head to the handle and helps preserve its shape.
Blending brush: A makeup brush designed to soften edges and diffuse product between areas. Blending brushes soften eyeshadow transitions and reduce visible boundaries between shades.
