Mambo

Mambo is a Cuban-derived dance-music style that flourished internationally in the mid-twentieth century, known for syncopated rhythms and energetic brass arrangements.

Clave: Clave is a repeating rhythmic pattern that organizes much Afro-Cuban music. Mambo arrangements often align their syncopations with this underlying rhythmic framework.
