Manipravalam is a medieval literary style of Kerala that blends Sanskrit vocabulary and grammatical forms with Malayalam, especially in poetry and prose.

Malayalam: A Dravidian language spoken chiefly in the Indian state of Kerala and the Lakshadweep islands. Manipravalam uses Malayalam as its principal linguistic base.
