Marduk

Marduk was Babylon’s chief god, associated with creation, kingship, and divine authority. His rise to prominence accompanied Babylon’s growth into a major political power.

Enuma Elish: A Babylonian creation epic in which Marduk defeats Tiamat and becomes ruler of the gods. This epic makes Marduk’s supremacy the outcome of cosmic creation and divine conflict.
