Margaret Bourke-White

Margaret Bourke-White (1904–1971) was an American photojournalist and documentary photographer whose work covered industry, the Great Depression, World War II, and the liberation of Buchenwald.

Fort Peck Dam: A large dam on the Missouri River in Montana, completed in 1940. Bourke-White’s photograph of its construction appeared on the first cover of Life magazine in 1936.
