Margot Fonteyn

Margot Fonteyn (1919–1991) was a British ballerina who became a leading dancer of the Royal Ballet and a celebrated partner of Rudolf Nureyev.

Rudolf Nureyev: A Soviet-born ballet dancer who defected to the West in 1961 and became an international star. Their partnership, begun in 1962, became one of ballet’s most celebrated pairings.
