Mario Savio

Mario Savio (1942–1996) was an American political activist and a leading spokesperson for the 1964 Free Speech Movement at the University of California, Berkeley.

Jack Weinberg: A student activist whose 1964 arrest at Berkeley helped trigger the Free Speech Movement. His arrest prompted the campus protest that brought Savio to national attention.
